The role:

Proactively supporting the commercial activities at EI, the successful candidate will be able to undertake market research, support the development of business plans and commercial projects and identify and monitor ways to deliver impact from our work. The post holder will be the first point of contact for the Group for academics and commercial partners and be able to build new relationships through networking.

Required qualifications and experience:

Candidates should be educated to degree level in life sciences or bioinformatics science. A knowledge of Intellectual Property (IP) protection, IP rights law and IP policy is essential.

Candidates should possess demonstrable experience of supporting a portfolio of projects and processes associated with the commercialisation of research and knowledge exchange.

Additional information:

Salary on appointment will be within the range £31,250 to £38,100 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time post on a permanent basis.
