My current role at the Earlham Institute involves multiple responsibilities; such as collecting requirements to establish a standardised API into the Brassica Information Portal working in collaboration with the ELIXIR community, the development of new BioJS components to allow the genotype-phenotype analysis for crop plants based on the widest public datasets, general improvements to the BioJS registry and tools.

At EI, I have been involved in an ongoing internship with the GOBLET community developing and improving their mygoblet.org platform to share knowledge, courses, learning materials and others among bioinformaticians. As a Computer Science Engineer, I have worked for seven years with different major private technological companies (Telefónica I+D, INECO) using a large variety of client and server technologies like Grails, Java, Javascript, and Oracle.
