Customer Liaison Officer (Sales)
Situated within the Platforms and Pipelines group at the Earlham Institute, I work with the Sequencing Sales Manager as the front line to customers’ requests. I use my enthusiasm in science and research to assist a wide range of researchers from different fields with their sequencing projects. This includes discussing projects to ensure they get the best possible customer experience and that the products deliver to their research requirements.
I have a passion for microbiology which originally developed during his undergraduate degree through experimental practicals and course material. My enthusiasm continued through my PhD in Oral Microbiology where I worked on the bacterial pathogen causing sore throats; Streptococcus pyogenes. My subsequent postdoctoral experience on bacterial community development between oral bacteria in the US provided further experience in the microbiology field. Upon returning to the UK, I joined the Institute of Food Research working on probiotic bacteria and the potential positive effects on gut health.
