I’m a Postdoctoral Research Scientist based in the Technology Algorithms Group (Leggett Group). My project focuses on developing interactive real-time metagenomics algorithms for Nanopore sequencing devices, such as the MinION.
My research interests include:
• Exploring ways of interacting with and visualising data generated in real-time.
• Developing approaches for streamed analysis of metagenomic sequence data.
Prior to joining the Earlham Institute I completed a BSc in Biological Sciences and an MSc in Plant Genetics at the University of East Anglia.
