The Earlham Institute (EI) is seeking Trustee Directors with Scientific Experience to join its Trustee Board.
Earlham Institute (EI) is a vibrant research institute focused on developing, understanding and using state-of-the-art genomics and bioinformatics to advance and enable bioscience by applying computational and data driven approaches.
EI is located with five other partners on the Norwich Research Park, a bioscience cluster with an outstanding reputation in plant and microbial sciences, interdisciplinary environmental sciences, and food, diet and health. The Board of Trustee Directors is looking to appoint two new Scientific Trustees who have experience in a relevant scientific field. As a non-executive director and trustee of the charity, you will use strategic leadership skills to nurture, advise and lead EI as it grows and evolves. The Board meets in person 4 times/year in Norwich, with interspersed telephone conferences between meetings.
As a non-executive trustee, you will provide guidance and input for the development of the scientific programme.
