Postdoctoral Scientist

Biography.

I am a molecular biologist with expertise in genomics and single cell analysis. My research focusses on profiling molecular heterogeneity of tissues by investigating cell specific gene expression and alternative splicing events occurring during tissue development and disease. 

After obtaining my PhD, I worked for two years at the University of Glasgow applying whole transcriptome and whole genome analysis to identify cancer molecular subtypes and how these subtypes change during evolution and acquisition of resistance to therapy.

I joined the Technical Development team in October 2017 at the Earlham Institute to work on an innovative project aimed to develop and apply single cell RNA-Seq approaches to study transcriptional mechanism regulating blood stem cells differentiation.
