Web and Digital Media Officer
Neil works in the Communications team delivering digital marketing and creative support to the Institute and its science faculty. Neil is a highly successful and multi-disciplined Marketing professional, having developed over 10 years of expertise, skills and knowledge in award-winning marketing communications, brand management, digital marketing, project management, business insight and strategy.
After graduating in 2003 with a BA (Hons) degree in Marketing, Neil has developed a wealth of experience and transferable skills from working in private industry for several leading UK and international brands across FMCG Retail, Manufacturing, Construction, Engineering and Environmental Services sectors.
Neil joined EI in July 2018, bringing his passion and enthusiasm for all aspects of marcomms and insight led strategy, with a digital first approach. Prior to joining EI, Neil held a Head of Marketing role, managing a marketing communications team for a business in the private sector.
Outside of work, Neil is a proud and dedicated father to his young triplet daughters. As a National Trust member, he enjoys spending time with his family visiting different NT places, discovering the rich heritage and finding inspiration from the variety of properties and landscapes.
His interests include web design and development, photography, ancestry and genealogical research.
