Nichola Wong

Nichola has an industrially funded PhD in Microbiology and Nanomedicine from the University of East Anglia, UK. Having worked at Quadram Institute and a biotech spin out company, she has 7 years of scientific experience in microbiology, molecular biology, nanomedicine and bioinformatics with interests in the gut microbiome and oligonucleotide therapy.

Nichola Wong is part of the Business Development and Impact Group and facilitates relationships and knowledge exchange between faculty members, national capabilities with other academic organisations and businesses to realise the potential of EI research.

Prior to the Earlham Institute, Nichola was involved in coordinating projects with industry and driving collaborative opportunities to enhance the proposition of intellectual property assets. She was also involved in liaising between academic, SME and contract research organisations to bring about further research impact and commercial potential.
