Biography

David Fazekas is the coordinator of the bioinformatics resources developed and maintained in the Korcsmaros Group.
 
David is currently a team leader and teaches bioinformatics at the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, where he directly works with the Korcsmáros Group at EI. He specialises in computational biology and data engineering.
 
David started working with Tamás during his BSc studies in 2006, later joining the Korcsmáros Group to develop and maintain bioinformatics resources such as signalink.org, signafish.org, autophagyregulation.org, nrf2ome.org and salmonet.org, and to provide informatics support for other projects, often running training courses, both in Hungary and in the UK at the Earlham Institute. He is also a trainer in several courses at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI).
 
David is fond of teas, and its culture. He also likes to help students with career advice and bioinformatics problems.
