Biography
Sreya is a bioinformatician/software developer in the Core Bioinformatics Group led by Dr. David Swarbreck. Her current focus is on annotation pipelines to aid in producing high-quality genome annotations.
Prior to joining the Earlham Institute, She worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in the 2Blades group (an industry funded translational research group) at The Sainsbury Laboratory in Norwich, using computational approaches to mine for candidate plant disease resistance genes.
Sreya has an undergraduate engineering degree in Biotechnology and a PhD in genomics in the context of plant breeding.
