As a member of the Plant Phenomics Team at EI, my research interests focus on developing novel crop phenomics techniques in rice phenotyping and germination, as well as related Agri-Tech innovations. In particular, I am focusing on research rice seed germination and phenotypic analysis of rice seedlings’ variation under drought treatment in recent years.

Prior to joining Earlham institute, I was awarded a BSc in Biology at Zhejiang Normal University, a MSc in Crop Genetics and Breeding at Huazhong Agriculture University, and a PhD in Ecology from Fudan University in Shanghai, China. I am also working at Shanghai Agrobiological Gene Center (SAGC) since 2006, with a long-term focus on drought resistant rice.
