Biography
I am currently a Visiting PhD student in Engineering at the University of Exeter, working in Li's group since September 2024. Prior to this, I completed a BSc in Network Engineering (2020) and an MSc in Computer Science and Technology (2023) at Xiangtan University.
My research mainly focuses on Reinforcement Learning (RL) and its advanced applications. My current work explores how Language Models (LLMs/VLMs) can be leveraged to enhance RL agents, asking how the extensive reasoning capabilities and world knowledge of pre-trained LLMs can guide exploration, reward design, and policy optimization. Looking ahead, the research increasingly centres on developing highly autonomous, sample-efficient agents capable of complex decision-making in real-world environments.
