Elizabeth Creissen

I am a qualified solicitor and experienced compliance professional with a background spanning criminal litigation, governance, and regulatory compliance. 

I began my career in private practice, advocating in court and advising on complex legal matters, before moving to Earlham Institute to work closely with the Chief Operating Officer on operational projects.

In my current role as Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance Advisory Manager, I advise on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters including data protection, human tissue research governance, and compliance with key research legislation. 

I work closely with the Executive, Board, Research Faculty, and operational teams to ensure robust governance and compliance measures are in place, enabling the Institute’s research to be conducted to the highest legal and ethical standards.
