Norwich EngBio Day
Building a local community of engineering biology expertise and driving collaborative discovery and innovation across plant and microbial biosciences
Norwich EngBio Day is a dedicated event bringing together researchers, students, and innovators from across Norwich to explore the latest advances in engineering biology. The programme showcases cutting‑edge research, emerging technologies, and real‑world applications, while creating space for meaningful discussion and collaboration.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with colleagues from multiple institutes, share best practice, and discover new opportunities for partnership.
Whether you are working on genetic circuit design, biofoundry automation, computational biology, sustainable biotechnology, using engineering biology tools, or applied synthetic biology, this event offers a vibrant forum to learn, network, and help shape the future of engineering biology in Norwich.
The event will feature talks from scientists across the Norwich Research Park, including presentations about the hubs which local researchers are working on - the GlycoCell Hub, ELEMENTAL Hub, EBIC Hub and the ARIA Synthetic Plants programme.
We will also invite abstract submissions for short talks and posters.
As this event is focused on bringing together local expertise and experience, please only register if you are based at a Norwich institute or organisation.
We are actively seeking sponsorship for this event, if you would like to hear about package options, please contact us training@earlham.ac.uk.
