How our science at Earlham Institute is decoding living systems

Here at EI we celebrate the best of science, technology, engineering and maths as part of British Science Week UK 2017.

17 March 2017

In celebration of the best of science, technology, engineering and maths as part of British Science Week, we speak to some of our scientists about their life science research and how it is making an impact to society.

We start with our Director Prof Neil Hall, who tells us about his own research group exploring pathogens, parasites and bacteria that cause disease in both humans and animals. Using genomics, the Hall Group identifies genes that are involved in the interaction with the organism and study the rate of their evolution to improve the development of their immune systems.
