Vicky Foster

Vicky is the Strategic Partnerships Manager in the BDI Team, providing support on knowledge exchange, commercialisation and strategic partnerships, with academic organisations, industry and other relevant stakeholders.  

With over 20 years of experience in research and knowledge exchange in the agriculture sector, Vicky has a wide network of research and commercial company contacts.

Vicky has a PhD in plant pathology from Rothamsted Research, and prior to joining Earlham, Vicky was the Head of the British Beet Research Organisation (sugar beet) where she developed the team, the strategy and liaised with a wide range of stakeholders from growers to government.  

This followed fifteen years working for the Agriculture & Horticulture Development Board, specialising in cereal and oilseed agronomy and programme management.  

She is passionate about research and engagement in plant science and taking this through to impact delivering benefits for the end-user.
