Biography

Lisa is the Senior Operations Manager (Deputy Chief Operating Officer) within the Operations Division at the Earlham Institute. Her responsibilities include the management of day-to-day operational delivery, strategic management of EI buildings to include facility management and project delivery, and strategic management of the Communications and the Operational and Business Support Team. 

Prior to this, Lisa undertook many operational roles within the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) from Business Support Manager through to the Divisional Operations Director for the Women’s and Children’s Division.  

As the lead for the operational arm of the Division, she was responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of all operational care standards, quality and service improvements and sustainable delivery of high-quality patient care and safety processes. 

In addition to this, Lisa also completed my Masters in Business Administration at the University of East Anglia.

Lisa previously worked at the Earlham Institute in 2013 as Business Support Manager for four years.

Throughout her professional career, Lisa has worked and managed varying sizes of teams and budgets across operational activities in both the private and public sector.

Sarah Jane Brady


 

Sarah joined the Earlham Institute in May 2025 as the Head of Communications. 

Her role involves leading the communications and public engagement strategy, internal communications, managing the communications group, media engagement and brand identity.

Prior to joining the Earlham Institute, Sarah worked for nearly a decade within the BirdLife International Partnership. Starting with developing an award-winning environmental education programme with BirdLife Malta, she progressed to lead the BirdLife Centenary World Congress before joining the communications team as Head of Communications. 

Recently completing a Masters in Media, Campaigning and Social Change, Sarah is passionate about the power of communications to create impact and drive change.
